It is one thing to know how to shoot but quite another to know when to shoot and what tactics to employ. In the problem solving tactics class you are forced to make decisions quickly and without notice. In this course you will work to solve problems you might encounter in the home, with vehicles, and on the street. Working in and around vehicles and the ITTS knife attack system will be utilized. These problems will become more complex as the class progresses and both live fire and simmunitions will be used.
Every scenario will be different and will cause you to think through a problem and effectively solve it, while maintaining your composure. You will be placed in both “shoot/no-shoot” scenarios. At the end of each scenario there will be a briefing on the class’s overall performance and suggestions on what other options might have been available. By the end of the class, you will learn to think on your feet and problem solve.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Defensive Handgun III from ITTS or equivalent from an ITTS recognized school. Current LE/MIL may be exempt – please contact us to confirm.
