Rescheduling a Class

Please be sure the class you sign up for works for your schedule and make the commitment to be there! There will be a rescheduling fee assessed if you rechedule your class.

We understand that people have busy lives and sometimes need to make a schedule change. However, please understand that our instructors, range staff, equipment and many other resources needed to put on a great weekend for our students are planned according to expected attendance. Additionaly, last minute reschedules or no-shows make it very hard for us to allow someone else to take your spot on such short notice.

Here is our Rescheduling Policy:

If you need to reschedule a class you can pay the rescheduling fee* and move your class to another class date within 1 year from the original date of purchase as long as you notify us and reschedule at least ONE WEEK (7 days) in advance. Those who do not give at least ONE WEEK of notice or do not show up at class will lose their class tuition and have to purchase the class again at the full price. If you have a true medical emergency, we ask that you please provide us with documentation.

Rescheduling Fees:

* Reschedule ONCE: $75 re-scheduling fee
* Reschedule TWICE: $150 re-scheduling fee
* Reschedule a third time: NOT ALLOWED... your class will need to be purchased again at full price.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS.

*** Inclement weather is not an excuse not to show up for class, and the rescheduling fee will not be waived if the forcast calls for rainy or hot weather. We train rain or shine and it is perfectly safe - and fun! We always do our very best to make everyone as comfortable as possible and provide the best training experience for you. We do train on an outdoor range, but we have heaters, water and plenty of cover to use when needed.***

Discounted Classes – We sometimes offer discounts on various classes and if you would like to take advantage of one, but don’t know if you will be available on that specific class date you may “float” the credit for up to one year until you are ready to commit to a firm date for the class. But please do not put your name on a specific class list unless you have checked your schedule and you are confident the date works for you.

Transferring Credit - Class credits are NOT transferable to another person OR between weapons systems. If you purchase a class and cannot attend, with at least one week’s notice we will be happy to hold that credit for you for up to one year. If you have had surgery or another issue which prevents you from attending a class, we will be happy to discuss extending the credit for a longer period.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Physical Conditions

We conduct training in every kind of weather condition.  At times it can be very hot, very cold or even raining at the range, but most of the time the weather is California perfect!  We make every effort to see that our students are comfortable, but it is very important that everyone dress according to the weather and bring the necessary supplies.

For hot weather - Please wear layers that can be removed, a rimmed cap or hat, bring sunscreen and gallons of water and/or Gatorade.  Staying hydrated on a hot day is imperative!

For cold weather - Please wear layers of warm clothes, gloves, a beanie or cap, and warm liquids will keep you comfortable.  We suggest water-proof gear with hoods and boots on rainy days.   We take many breaks in inclement weather to allow everyone to get cooled down, heated up or dry.  We have several propane heaters set up for cold days and our overhang provides cool shelter for those hot and rainy days.

And finally, please be realistic about your ability to participate in a specific course.  You will be asked to sign a waiver stating that you are in good physical condition and able to complete the course that you are attending.  If you are not in the best physical shape or have any conditions which might compromise your safety or that of others, please let us know immediately.  A few of our classes are just too strenuous for some students and we will be glad to recommend a class that might better suit you.  We will also recommend that you take several small breaks if you are getting tired.  While we like to put on challenging courses, ultimately your comfort and safety are our first concern.

Arrivals and Departures

Classes begin promptly at the times listed on our web page.  Please be sure to get to the range 15 minutes before class so that we can get started on time.

If you need to leave the range before the class is over, please let the instructor know in advance so he or she is not searching for you.  If you are not feeling well, please consult one of our medical staff for their advice before leaving the range.

If you must leave early, we cannot stop the class to hand out your certificate.  We will be glad to mail your class certificate to you.

Age Limits

We really enjoy working with kids and seniors, but we do have age restrictions that dictate what type of training students can partake in. These are the guideliens that we strictly adhere to:

17 years and under:  May attend a private lesson with a parent or guardian (no group classes). Please note this is at our discretion and we suggest contacting us to discuss the age of your child and we will let you know what we deem appropriate for them.
18-20 years:  May attend a private lesson or a group class with a parent or guardian
21-69 years:  May attend a private lesson or group class
70+ years:  May attend a private lesson (no group classes)... We don't ever mean to offend anyone, but classes can be strenuous and our primary focus is always our student's safety. If you are over 70 years old please call our office and we would be happy to discuss a private training regime that will suit your needs

If you have any further questions about age restrictions please contact admin@internationaltactical.com or calll 210-446-1930

International Students

We have many students come to us from all over the world, and we love making new friends. However, we have certain requirements for those who are not U.S. citizens. International students must do the following:

  2. Email us a completed ITTS student application with a brief written statement as to why you would like to attend a particular course.
  3. Email us a letter with your company letterhead stating your position with the company and your length of employment, etc. (You will need to send us a hard copy of that letter as well).

Once you have sent us this required information please call or email our office and we can discuss what group classes or private training is best suited for you.  If for some reason we cannot accept your application, we will promptly refund your tuition.  We thank you for your understanding.
