Immediate Medical Response
Class Overview
Essential Emergency Skills for Protecting Your Loved Ones!
When every second counts, your ability to respond can mean the difference between life and death. This course teaches critical, easy-to-learn medical skills that empower you to act confidently during the most common life-threatening emergencies—long before first responders arrive.
This hands-on, practical training is designed for everyday people—not medical professionals. Whether you’re a parent, partner, friend, or neighbor, you’ll walk away with the confidence to save a life when it matters most.
Immediate Medical Response can be taken in conjunction with our Major Physical Traumas class. We recommend attending both of them, however, they can be taken in any order as they address different skills.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there any shooting involved in this class?
No, this is a lecture-based class. There will be interaction throughout the day and involvement by students in practicing many of the methods taught in class.
Since there is no shooting, is there an age restriction for this class?
Yes, students must be 18 years of age to attend this class. This is because of the nature of the material being shared during class, some of which can be a bit graphic (learning about different kinds of bleeds, fractures, etc).
I've taken your LSS classes before, is it worth taking again?
Absolutely! Like anything else, these are perishable skills. Many of the skills learned in this class can be applied in numerous instances to save a life, so they are very valuable to maintain.
Do I need to bring my own IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) for this class?
If you have one you are more than welcome to bring it so you can reference the contents as they come up during class. However, you do not need to bring your own IFAK as we have lots of practice med kits and materials we provide for the training.
