Basic Carbine Rifle Setup
Class Overview
If you’ve been wanting to purchase or build an AR-pattern carbine, but aren’t sure where to start, Basic Carbine Rifle Setup is the class for you! Since there isn’t a standard “out of the box” carbine setup, choosing the right configuration before you get a chance to use it can be a daunting task. You have to choose not just the rifle itself, but also an optic, a weapon light, a sling, a grip style, etc. How could you possibly know what you want before you’ve had a chance to try any of this?
This is what Basic Carbine Rifle Setup aims to solve! Over the years, we’ve found a few particular setups to work extremely well, with a few options open for personal preference. In this class you’ll be able to “try before you buy” so you don’t have to spend time or money with needless trial and error.
This class is intended for anyone who has a carbine rifle or is thinking of purchasing one.

- Optics, including how to zero your optics

- CA Compliance
Equipment
- Your personal rifle (optional)*
- Any rifle accessories you’ve already purchased (optional)*
- Notepad and pen
- Eye and ear protection (ITTS staff will discuss and demo proper zeroing of a rifle, which is why eye and ear pro is necessary)
- Water and lunch
*This class is intended to provide guidance on choosing and installing the right carbine rifle and accessories. However, ITTS staff will not be installing equipment for students on their own rifles. Student’s may bring any of their own gear to inquire with ITTS staff about their specific setup and if there is time we can assist at our discretion.

Prerequisites:
If you have not completed the prerequisite class with ITTS, but you have prior formal training that was recent and comparable in both subject matter and duration, contact us to discuss your candidacy for this class. Your prior training will need to have been from a qualified and verifiable source that meets our school’s standards.
LEO & Miltary may be exempt from this prerequisite. Contact us to discuss.

4) Click “ADD BOOKING”
No need to pay now for the rental. Simply indicate how many rentals are needed and you will pay for the rental on the day of your class.
All rentals come with ammo and all other associated equipment. We will have everything ready for you at your class.
