REVIEWS

“Scott Reitz and his instructors instill confidence and also inject humor into their teaching method where the student feels safe and comfortable. Safety is not negotiable; Scott and the others demand this.”

“I wanted to thank you for an education and fun Handgun I class, dare I say it was life changing. I do think that all gun owners should take your course. Unfortunately I did not grow up in a household that owned guns (no knowledge was imparted on me) so when I became an adult and purchased my first gun (shotgun) the gun safety knowledge was learned through Hunter/Safety classes, which as you can imagine are kind of a joke. When my three children come of age I will absolutely accompany them to your class.”

Subjects Covered:

Active shooter/First Responder scenarios require quick thinking and critical judgment! How do you handle these scenarios in the safest and most effective manner? What are the signs leading up to a critical incident? These and many more questions will be addressed in our Active Shooter Critical Response class. Warning signs, telltale indicators and a history and debriefing of active shooter incidents will be covered. Critical care trauma personnel will teach a wide array of emergency trauma procedures. A second day will be devoted to cold runs from response to contact to resolution in a simmunitions format at an offsite location. Please note that class size will be limited and we expect this course to fill up quickly.

Equipment needed:

  • Eye and ear protection
