This basic/intermediate level breaching class is for Law Enforcement and Military Operators who want to develop or enhance their ability to utilize the most effective breaching techniques. Taught by current LAPD SWAT instructors, this comprehensive class will teach officers and operators to identify the tools that are necessary when faced with a multitude of forced entry scenarios and how to use them both safely and effectively. These skills are essential to bring to any department or agency that needs to enhance the abilities of their personnel.
A representative from a company that provides a variety of breaching equipment will be in attendance and will be a valuable resource for students who need to bring new tools to their departments.
Day 1 students will be hands-on learning the must current and proven breaching techniques and how to deploy them in real world situations.
Day 2 students will engage in scenario based live-fire training all while incorporating the breaching techniques.
Prerequisite: LEO and Military only.

Equipment needed:
- Cleaned and oiled pistol at least 9mm in caliber.
- Three or more magazines
- Duty rig
- Body armor (vest, helmet, etc.)
- Eye and ear protection
- 200 rounds of factory ammunition
- ITTS will provide breaching rounds

Student Application Once class tuition has been paid, all new students must complete an online student application prior to training. Returning students that have completed an application within the last year are exempt.
