This course is for students who have been through a basic pistol course and want to transition to another level of training. If you have already completed a basic pistol course at another school, please contact us to see if you qualify for this course. Every school conducts their training in a different manner and we are aware of which courses satisfy the prerequisite.
Handgun II builds upon basic skills, provides new skill sets and refines existing skills while balancing speed and accuracy.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Defensive Handgun I from ITTS or equivalent from an ITTS recognized school. Current LE/MIL exempt.

- Review of basics
- Speed reloading
- Multiple target engagement at speed
- Varied distance shooting
- Malfunction drills
- Failure drills at speed
- Proper care and maintenance of pistol
- How to set up a pistol for maximum efficiency
- Man on man in timed drills
- Night time shooting techniques – level 1
- Cleaned and oiled pistol at least 9mm in caliber. *
- Two or more magazines *
- Magazine pouch or holder
- Sturdy nylon or leather belt or duty rig
- Eye and ear protection
- Clear glasses for night shoot
- Sturdy flashlight with spare batteries
- 400 rounds of factory ammunition *

Student Application Once class tuition has been paid, all new students must complete an online student application prior to training. Returning students that have completed an application within the last year are exempt.
